Coat of Arms
The ZTA Crest has a design enveloped with beauty,courage,and high ideals. The symbolism of the coat of arms is hidden in the hearts and minds of all ZTA's.Because of its importance and secret meaning, this symbol may only be worn or owned by an initiated member.
Strawberries
In the late 1800s, an admirer of one of ZTA's Founders sent a package full of strawberries. The delicious present prompted the group of nine friends to host their first purely social gathering and to become officially recognized as a campus organization.
Pledge Pin
Since 1912, ZTA pledge ship has been signified by the turquoise and silver carpenter's square, one of the most unusual and distinctive pledge pins in the fraternity world. Today, it is still the honor and privilege of each ZTA New Member to wear the turquoise and silver carpenter's square, as she begins her lifetime association.
Honor Ring
The Honor ring of Zeta Tau Alpha is given to Alumne members who devote extensive volunteer work to ZTA. Receving the Honor ring is the highest honor in ZTA.
